I'm taking a break

Unfortunately, my sister passed away this weekend, so I won't be posting for a while.  Not sure how long, as it was quite upsetting as she was so young, maybe my feelings will settle down once I'm done taking care of everything that needs to be taken care of, as I'm taking care of her arrangements.

    I'm hanging in there, but it's been tough, I'm a bit older than she is, enough that I felt like a father to her after we lost our father when we were all young. Thanks again!

    Things are settling down, but I still have my up and down days. It's been so surreal and unimaginable. And yet she's been battling ailments for years, so it should not have been as much of a surprise to us. However, given that she has beaten the Doctors prognosis of only 5 years left by about 30 or so years, I guess we thought she was healthier than she really was.

    We are trying our best to stay strong, but my thoughts return to my memories of watching her grow up, and now missing her. It will just take a lot of time, just like when my mom passed, just like when my dad passed.
