These are just my opinions. I cannot promise that I will be perfect, but I can promise that I will seek to understand and illuminate whatever moves that the Giants make (my obsession and compulsion). I will share my love of baseball and my passion for the Giants. And I will try to teach, best that I can. Often, I tackle the prevailing mood among Giants fans and see if that is a correct stance, good or bad.

Felipe Alou Has A Win That Is Grand
Congratulations to Felipe Alou, who won his 1,000th game as a manager. Becoming a major league manager at the late age of 57, he never thought he would ever reach this point, but he has persevered over the horrible ownership that caused him trouble during his career at Montreal, which enabled him to reach this point where he gets to manage for his first MLB team, the team of Mays, Marichial, and McCovey that he was privileged to play with. Hopefully he can end his managerial career with the Giants and with a win.
Hello Martin -
ReplyDeleteI wonder if you would comment on the differences in AA and AAA leagues. By the designations, one assumes guys "progress thru the system." And I know almost noone goes to the bigs from A ball. But AA doesn't seem all that much lower than AAA. If this is true, why?
