She is now with my father. She fought the good fight but her body was not up for it this time.
She was a good person, a great mother, perfect for my particular needs growing up, shaping me into and making me the man - the person - I am today, and I will miss her greatly and deeply.
R.I.P.
My sincere condolences, Martin. Hang in there, and my best wishes to your family.

i am sorry for your loss, Martin.
ReplyDeleteMartin, my sincere condolences. I lost my father, who started Little League in the town I grew up in so I could play baseball. My mom is in a nursing home and fighting to hang on. It seems more difficult for her without my father.
ReplyDeleteSo, I know there is a lot of pain and reflection and remembering.
I enjoy your writing, your attitudes, your attempts to be fair and thorough.
I wish you the best in a difficult time.
Martin,
ReplyDeleteI am so sorry. Having just gone through my Mom losing her battle with cancer, (what I imagine was a terrible time for you and your family), I know how hard it can be.
My family sends our prayers and thoughts.
Your friend,
Martin:
ReplyDeleteI'm really sorry to hear that. I'm sure that she was very proud to have raised such an intelligent and all-around nice son. I wish you and your family the best during these times.
Take care,
Kent
I'm sure that you are tough enough to get through it, but that's the type of thing I wouldn't wish on anyone. Even knowing it happens to us all doesn't make it any easier to take.
ReplyDeleteStay strong, brother.
