A...Win or lose today, I'm proud of the Giants. And I'm not writing them off, but acknowledge the possibility that we don't make it past this round. Down 2 games is not where most teams make it out.

Still, we got Bumgarner, Moore, and Cueto lined up. So you gotta like our chances of pulling it off more. But it will be tough.

The baseball gods smiled on the Cubs in game 1 with that basket catch instead of a Pagan catch, and the umpires really doing a good job of making fans want to replace them with technology. Perhaps the swing of the baseball pendulum swings back in the home confines of AT&T.

Losing Pagan hurts, though, given he has had a great record against Arrieta, and been relatively hotter than other hitters. Perhaps he can come through in the latter part of the game, once massage therapy and heat maybe loosen up things for him.

Or maybe Gillaspie will come through again. I had thought of mentioning him for the WC game as a wild card factor, since he had been hot the final two weeks, but forgot to. This time I'll mention it. And Blanco can surprise sometimes too.

Go Giants!!!obsessivegiantscompulsivehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11362706004246875823noreply@blogger.com
