Holliday will be too expensive; Boras will make sure of that. Bay or Ankiel perhaps, though Nady might be a cheaper pickup.obsessivegiantscompulsivehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11362706004246875823noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-23735245.post-3611013323068161642009-09-10T12:00:45.102-07:002009-09-10T12:00:45.102-07:00I think Bumgarner did alright - your first major l...I think Bumgarner did alright - your first major league start has to be a trippy thing. He didn't get bombed, so I count that as a success.

I'm all for Penny next year - only because I'm not 100% confident in Zito or Sanchez. And a fifth starter has to come from somewhere. He'll come cheap, what could it hurt?

So, any wild speculation of what high-priced outfielder is going to get signed this winter? I don't know. Either way you could tell he knew what he was doing. He had 10 groundballs. It's nice to know he can still be effective even if he's not blowing people away.o potentially let Matos get away. Bocock will never be a decent major leaguer. Why continue to hold on to him?
I think it was a mistake tMatt Mongiellonoreply@blogger.com
